What is NOT a part of HRD activities?

Recruitment of freelancers is not considered a part of Human Resource Development (HRD) activities. HRD focuses on enhancing employees' skills, competencies, and overall professional growth within an organization. This includes activities such as career coaching, which helps individuals navigate their career paths; customer service training, which develops employees' capabilities to manage client interactions effectively; and performance management, which encompasses evaluations, feedback, and strategies for improving employee performance.

In contrast, recruitment, including the recruitment of freelancers, falls primarily under Human Resource Management (HRM) activities. While HRM is concerned with attracting and hiring talent, HRD is centered around developing and nurturing that talent once employed. Therefore, the recruitment of freelancers does not align with the primary goals and functions of HRD activities.
